Book a Consultation With Revive Relationship Counseling
A specialty couples and sex therapy practice serving clients in Colorado, Texas, Utah, Idaho, and Washington.
Revive Relationship Counseling is a group practice that helps individuals and couples in person in Centennial, Colorado, or virtually throughout Colorado, Texas, Utah, Idaho and Washington.
Our work is best suited for clients seeking specialized relationship and sex therapy that integrates Gottman informed couples therapy, practical relationship tools, and deeper emotional work to improve communication, rebuild connection, and create lasting change.
We offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to help determine fit, answer logistical questions, and identify which clinician may be the best match for your needs.
What’s the purpose of a phone consultation?
The phone consultation is a brief, informal conversation designed to help you learn more about our practice while also helping us understand what you’re hoping to work on in therapy. The primary goal is to determine whether our practice and clinical approach are a good fit for your needs and, if so, which clinician may be the best match.
No therapy takes place during this call. Instead, we’ll ask a few questions about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping to gain from the process.
What will we talk about?
During the consultation, we may discuss:
Your main concerns and goals
What you’re hoping for from therapy
What to expect from sessions
Scheduling options and session fees
You’re also encouraged to ask questions!
Who should be on the call?
If you’re in a committed relationship and seeking couples counseling, we recommend that both partners join the consultation whenever possible. This allows us to ensure that the practice and potential clinician feel like a good fit for everyone involved.
If both partners can’t attend the initial call, we’re happy to briefly connect with your partner separately before the first session to help everyone feel comfortable moving forward.
Why does fit matter in therapy?
Research consistently shows that the relationship between therapist and client is one of the strongest predictors of successful therapy outcomes.
We often tell clients that finding an individual therapist can feel a bit like dating, while finding a couples therapist can feel more like finding “couples friends.” You want someone you can trust, communicate openly with, and feel comfortable being honest around, especially when discussing vulnerable or emotionally charged topics.
The consultation helps us determine whether our practice, clinical approach, and therapist personalities feel like a good fit for your goals, preferences, and relationship dynamic.
Session Options
Individual Therapy
50-minute sessions are available for individual therapy and focused relational support.
Couples Therapy
Because couples therapy involves working with two partners and the relationship dynamic as a whole, many couples benefit from extended sessions that allow more space for communication work, structured interventions, emotional processing, and meaningful progress.
Most couples begin with an extended assessment phase designed to help us better understand relationship dynamics, communication patterns, strengths, and treatment goals before moving into ongoing therapy work.
This process often includes:
Two 100-minute assessment sessions
Gottman relationship assessments
One 75-minute collaborative feedback and treatment planning session
Following the assessment phase, most couples continue with 75-minute ongoing sessions, though extended 100-minute sessions are available when clinically appropriate.

If another provider or level of care may be a better fit, we’re happy to offer referral recommendations when possible.
