What’s the purpose of a phone consultation?
The phone consultation is a brief, informal conversation designed to help you learn more about our practice and for us to understand what you’re hoping to work on in therapy. The primary goal is to determine whether Revive Relationship Counseling is a good fit for your needs and, if so, which clinician on our team may be the best match.
No therapy takes place during this call. Instead, we’ll ask a few questions about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping to gain from the process.
What will we talk about?
During the consultation, we may discuss:
Your main concerns and goals
What you’re hoping for from therapy
What to expect from sessions
Scheduling options and session fees
You’re also encouraged to ask questions. Reviewing our website ahead of time often helps clients come prepared.
Who should be on the call?
If you’re in a committed relationship and seeking couples counseling, we recommend that both partners join the consultation whenever possible. This allows us to ensure that the practice and potential clinician feel like a good fit for everyone involved.
If both partners can’t attend the initial call, we’re happy to briefly connect with your partner separately before the first session to help everyone feel comfortable moving forward.
Scheduling, Fees, & Availability
Session fees: Vary by clinician and typically range from $140–$205 for a standard 50-minute session
Availability: Appointment times vary by clinician and may include daytime and evening options
Format: In-person and telehealth sessions are available, depending on clinician availability
